The sex appeal hat was started in 1994 by Matt Hilker. Matt left his hat behind for the program to have forever. The hat is passed from the wearer, who is considered the sexiest person at Summer Honors, to a member of the opposite sex. There is a competition for the hat which is chosen by the wearer him/herself. Like the Green Jacket, this hat is a reminder to not take anything too seriously.  Each year, the beloved hat gains a sticker or pin of the wearer's choice. Currently there are two pins that say something in Russian, a "Hardcore Cuddler" pin, a cat sticker, a pacman pin, and a pin that says "It's okay to ask me if I washed my hands."
